This is Amaka.
Where self-care is joyful, healing is full of laughter, and transformation happens naturally.
Amaka is the vision of Carola and Giulia, a mother-daughter duo passionate about creating spaces where transformation, connection, and joy come naturally. After experiencing the profound healing power of nature and community through their own journey of grief, they founded Amaka as a sanctuary—one that nurtures growth, renewal, and well-being in a way that feels effortless and enjoyable.
The name Amaka comes from the Yanomami language, meaning "hammock"—a simple yet powerful symbol of relaxation, balance, and the gentle rhythms of life. At Amaka, we believe that wellness doesn’t have to be serious or rigid. It can be fluid, light, and even playful. Like swaying in a hammock, finding well-being should feel natural, inviting, and full of ease.
We embrace the idea that life’s unexpected twists can lead to profound change, but that transformation doesn’t have to be heavy—it can be filled with laughter, adventure, and shared moments of joy. Whether through our carefully curated retreats or the vibrant communities we build, Amaka is a place where self-discovery happens organically, where healing meets happiness, and where nature reminds us to breathe, let go, and embrace the moment.
At Amaka, we don’t just do wellness—we live it, the fun way. Whether you're seeking deep healing, meaningful connections, or simply a refreshing escape, we’re here to guide, support, and inspire you—every step of the way.
