As a boutique independent enterprise, we invest our passion, time, and dedication into crafting life-altering retreat experiences. Prior to confirming your booking, we encourage you to thoroughly review our terms and conditions. Your full payment or initial installment payment not only secures your reservation but also indicates your thorough comprehension and acceptance of these terms.

Booking and Payment

We offer two convenient payment options for your reservation. You can choose to pay the full price upfront, or opt for a personalized payment installment plan. It is essential to adhere to the agreed-upon payment schedule, ensuring that the complete retreat amount is settled by the communicated deadline. Your cooperation in honoring these payment plans is greatly appreciated.

Cancellations and Refund Policy

We understand that life is unpredictable, and plans can change. Here's a clear breakdown of our cancellation and refund policy:

  • Cancellation more than 10 weeks before the retreat date: You can switch your participation to another retreat within the same calendar year. If there's no available space, you will receive 50% of the full retreat price will apply.

  • Cancellation between 10 - 6 weeks before the retreat date: You only receive 25% of the full retreat price.

  • Cancellation within 6 weeks of the retreat date: Unfortunately, no refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 42 days of the retreat.

Prices

All retreat prices shown are per person and are quotable and payable in EUR.

The price is the exact amount to be received by us, irrespective of fluctuations in currency and irrespective of any third party transfer charges. If you choose to pay by electronic transfer, please instruct your bank to charge all costs to you in order to avoid a shortfall in the amount that we receive. 

We will email you our banking account details on request. 

Any personal information that you provide us with will be used only for the service you requested. 

Liability and Insurance

Travel insurance is not incorporated into the retreat price, and its acquisition is strongly recommended for comprehensive protection. Amaka Retreats absolves itself from responsibility for any loss, accidents, and injuries transpiring within or outside the premises. All guests are urged to secure their own life and travel insurance. It is imperative that your travel insurance extends coverage to the activities of this retreat, encompassing unforeseen cancellations, illnesses, losses, and other typical risks. Additionally, any damages incurred to the property must be fully reimbursed by the respective guest.

Retreat Changes

In the unlikely event that we are unable to host a retreat and must cancel, rest assured that you will be promptly notified, and a 100% refund will be issued. In cases where a teacher substitution is deemed necessary, we reserve the right to provide an equally qualified and suitable replacement.

However, it is essential to note that we are not accountable for any expenses incurred by participants in preparation for the retreat. This includes but is not limited to airline tickets, loss of work, visa fees, and other costs associated with trip preparation. We appreciate your understanding of these circumstances and recommend considering travel insurance to mitigate potential losses.

Travel Arrangements

Your travel arrangements are a crucial component of your retreat experience, and it's essential to manage them responsibly. Please be aware that all travel arrangements are your personal responsibility and come at your own cost. We cannot be held liable for any consequences arising from delays or cancellations with companies you've engaged for travel-related services. Additionally, any irregularities in your travel documentation required for the retreat are beyond our control.
